Foothills Gymnastics and Cheer Center is proud to offer a program for children and adults with a variety of special needs.
Our program provides many opportunities for a child to utilize and expand their sensory functions including vision, hearing,
touch, gravity, body position and movement. We are looking for individuals who would like to take part in our Special Olympic
Gymnastics program. If you have a child or know of someone with intellectual special needs, please call Foothills Gymnastics
and Cheer Center.
We are also excited about our unique Gym Buddies program! The Gym Buddies program is a fun and fantastic way
to volunteer and become involved in the wonderful sport of gymnastics! The Gym Buddies work with our gymnasts who
have special needs in a regular class setting or in our Friday morning classes specifically designed for those
gymnasts with intellectual special needs.

Ginny and Will Buchanan have moved to North Augusta, SC. Ginny is a 4th grade teacher at North Aiken Elementary School.
Will is a student at North Aiken Elementary School and plans on taking gymnastics near their new home. Will still
plans to represent Foothills Gymnastics and Cheer Center (Area 13 Pickens County) at Special Olympics competitions! We miss
them so much, but we will be seeing them throughout the year! Best wishes to them at their new school, Will's new gym, and
their new home. We love you both so much!

We did it! Our First 5K Walk/Run Fundraiser for our special olympic athletes.
We had such a wonderful Saturday morning walking and spending time with our favorite
friends and family.
